Dana has spent over 30 years at Coughlin, Sheff & Associates. Prior to joining CS&A, he spent seven years as an IRS Revenue Agent. Dana attended Bentley College, where he earned both a BS in Accounting and MS in Taxation. Dana is a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. He has been featured in a variety of radio and TV shows about taxes, and has had an article published in the Boston Business Journal about ESOPs. In addition, Dana has taught various courses in taxation to professional groups and IRS agents.
Dana works exclusively in the area of taxation. He spends a considerable amount of time representing clients before the IRS and various state tax authorities, He is also heavily involved with tax planning in a variety of areas for the firm's clients.
Dana is on the Board of Directors of the Boston Cooperative in which he lives with his wife, Gail.
When he's not working, Dana enjoys traveling, watching movies, listening to music, and getting together with family and friends.
